Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from mobilization through execution, testing, handover and close-out.
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for project planning, site execution, resource management, subcontractor coordination, cost and schedule control, quality, HSE compliance, client communication and successful project delivery.
The successful candidate should have strong experience managing multidisciplinary construction activities and coordinating engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel. The role requires strong commercial awareness, leadership capability and the ability to manage multiple project priorities while maintaining safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage construction projects from initial mobilization through final handover and close-out.
Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, milestones and resource requirements.
Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, piping, MEP and other project disciplines as applicable.
Monitor daily and weekly site progress against the approved project schedule.
Identify schedule delays, construction constraints and project risks and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments.
Lead project progress meetings and provide accurate progress and performance reports to management and clients.
Manage engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors and site teams.
Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and project requirements.
Coordinate material, manpower, equipment and subcontractor requirements according to the construction schedule.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, productivity and resource utilization.
Review subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are achieved.
Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
Review technical submissions, RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings and other project documentation.
Work closely with QA/QC teams to maintain required quality standards and resolve NCRs and technical issues.
Ensure strict implementation of project HSE requirements and applicable UAE regulations.
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.
Manage variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time and other contractual matters in coordination with commercial teams.
Maintain proper project documentation, correspondence and records.
Monitor project KPIs including schedule performance, productivity, cost, quality and safety.
Prepare recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule.
Ensure completion of punch-list and snagging activities before handover.
Coordinate preparation of as-built drawings, O&M documentation and final project dossiers.
Maintain professional communication with clients and protect the company's commercial and contractual interests.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of construction/project management experience.
Minimum 3–5 years in a Project Manager or equivalent senior project position.
UAE or GCC construction experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing projects from mobilization through handover.
Experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams.
Experience dealing directly with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling and project controls.
Experience managing manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
Strong understanding of project cost control and commercial management.
Experience with UAE construction standards, regulations and HSE requirements is preferred.
Experience in infrastructure, industrial, oil & gas, pipeline or major civil projects is an advantage.
